Georgia High School Basketball - Darlington triumphant over Pepperell

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) and the visiting Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), observed Darlington's basketball team overwhelm Pepperell by a score of 76-23.

The Tigers (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Heard County (Franklin, GA). The Braves come into the A D1 Region 6 challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Heard County was routed by Springwood (Lanett, AL), 73-69, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Pepperell will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 64-47 league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
