In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Denbigh Patriots basketball team scored a good 60-52 win over the Gloucester Dukes.
The Patriots (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers come into the Peninsula contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Hampton defeated Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA), 60-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dukes battle the Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Thursday, January 30. Gloucester will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 70-67 league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA).
