Illinois High School Basketball - East Alton-Wood River routed by Gillespie

The Gillespie Miners bounced the host East Alton-Wood River Oilers basketball squad by a final score of 85-64 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Miners clash with the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a South Central outing, on Friday, January 31. Gillespie will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Vandals enter the outing with a 9-14 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL).
