The Broncos (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans come into the AAAA Region 8 challenge with a 20-2 record. In their last challenge, North Oconee edged Eastside (Covington, GA), 59-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Flowery Branch will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-19 record after their 60-44 league loss to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).
