Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Malvern Prep holds off Episcopal Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Malvern Prep Friars basketball team scored a close 53-51 triumph over the Episcopal Academy Churchmen.
The Friars (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA). The Patriots go into the Inter-Academic contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Germantown Academy was tipped by Springside (Philadelphia, PA), 63-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Churchmen confront the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) in a Inter-Academic contest, on Friday, January 31. Episcopal Academy will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Quakers go into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 49-46 league win over Haverford School (Haverford, PA).
