The Menominee Maroons basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Escanaba Eskymos to 31 in the Maroons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Maroons now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Marquette for a Great Northern U.P. game on Friday, January 31. Menominee will confront a Redmen team coming off a 77-56 non-league win over Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Redmen record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Escanaba falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Eskymos travel to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to confront the Flivvers in a Great Northern U.P. game on Friday, January 31. The Flivvers go into the game with a record of 11-3. Kingsford lost 60-57 in their recent non-league game against Norway (Norway, MI)
