The Farwell Steers basketball team scored 101 points and limited the visiting Lockney Longhorns to 39 in the Steers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Steers now have a 22-5 record. They play next when they host Bovina for a 2A Region I District 3 game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Lockney falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Hale Center (Hale Center, TX) to confront the Owls in a 2A Region I District 3 game on Friday, January 31. The Owls go into the game with a record of 17-8. Hale Center lost 60-42 in their recent league game against Olton (Olton, TX)
