The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Farwell Eagles to 20 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison for a Jack Pine game on Thursday, January 30. Meridian will confront a Hornets team coming off a 72-41 league loss to Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Farwell falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI) to confront the Falcons in a Jack Pine game on Tuesday, February 4. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 8-7.
