Georgia High School Basketball - Flint River Academy sneaks past LaGrange Academy

The Flint River Academy Wildcats (Woodbury, GA) basketball edged the visiting LaGrange Academy (LaGrange, GA), 43-40 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Mountain Academy for a GIAA A Region 5 bout on Friday, January 31. Flint River Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 82-30 non-league loss to Georgia Force Christian (Sugar Hill, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, LaGrange Academy falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The host St. George's (Milner, GA) to play the Athletes in a GIAA A Region 5 bout on Friday, January 31. The Athletes go into the bout with a record of 12-5. St. George's won 50-42 in their recent league bout against Flint River Academy (Woodbury, GA)
