In Tuesday's league test, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), by a score of 68-38.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Friday, January 31. Western Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 9-8 record after their 61-47 non-league win over Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA).
The Flying Flucos (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs come into the Jefferson test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Monticello bounced Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 48-37, in a non-league test.
