The Fort Defiance Indians basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 74 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo Gap for a Shenandoah game on Thursday, January 30. Fort Defiance will confront a Bison team coming off a 66-35 league loss to Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Bison record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Riverheads falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to confront the Cougars in a Shenandoah game on Friday, January 31. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 12-6. Stuarts Draft lost 75-61 in their recent league game against Staunton (Staunton, VA)
