Virginia High School Basketball - Northside overwhelms Franklin County

The Northside Vikings basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Franklin County Eagles to 32 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they host Fleming for a Blue Ridge game on Friday, January 31. Northside will confront a Colonels team coming off a 56-37 league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Franklin County falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Blue Ridge game on Friday, January 31. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-11. Staunton River lost 60-54 in their recent league game against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)
