The Unity Reed Lions basketball squad (Manassas, VA), was crushed 63-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA)

With the victory, Gainesville advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA) to meet the Yellowjackets in a Cedar Run battle on Friday, January 31. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a record of 1-19. Osbourn Park lost 61-39 in their recent non-league battle against Hylton (Woodbridge, VA)
