Texas High School Basketball - Sands knocks off Grady

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Sands Mustangs basketball team scored a good 42-34 win over the Grady Wildcats.

The Mustangs (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Loop (Loop, TX). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region I District 6 contest with a 22-4 record. In their last contest, Loop defeated Dawson (Welch, TX), 63-45, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 contest, on Friday, January 31. Grady will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the contest with a 12-9 record after their 63-62 league loss to Klondike (Lamesa, TX).
