The Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) basketball crushed the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), 71-24 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cubs now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Prairie City-Monroe for a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Friday, January 31. Nevada will play a Mustangs team coming off a 61-47 league loss to Perry (Perry, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Greene County falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Roland-Story (Story City, IA) to play the Norsemen in a Heart of Iowa - Large bout on Friday, January 31. The Norsemen go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Roland-Story lost 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA)
