North Carolina High School Basketball - Word of God Christian Academy nudges Hargrave Military Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), observed Word of God Christian Academy's basketball team edge Hargrave Military Academy by a score of 58-55.

The Holy Rams (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Zion Christian Academy (Durham, NC). The Mighty Warriors come into the CAASC Triangle challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Mount Zion Christian Academy was tipped by Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC), 67-63, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Hargrave Military Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-16 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 75-52 league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
