Virginia High School Basketball - Harrisonburg holds off Rockbridge County

The Harrisonburg Blue Streaks basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats to 50 in the Blue Streaks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blue Streaks now have a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Spotswood for a Valley game on Thursday, January 30. Harrisonburg will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 63-35 league win over East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 14-3.
With the loss, Rockbridge County falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Broadway (Broadway, VA) to confront the Gobblers in a Valley game on Thursday, January 30. The Gobblers go into the game with a record of 3-14. Broadway lost 59-35 in their recent league game against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA)
