The Heritage Mountaineers (Maryville, TN) basketball crushed the host Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), 79-42 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Mountaineers now possess a 16-8 record. They play next when they host South-Doyle for a 3A District 5 bout on Friday, January 31. Heritage will play a Cherokees team coming off a 72-63 league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN). The Cherokees record now stands at 5-15.
With the loss, Loudon falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Redskins host Rhea County (Evensville, TN) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Rhea County lost 60-55 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Cleveland, TN)
