In Tuesday's league contest, the host Rural Retreat Indians basketball team scored a big 74-35 triumph over the Honaker Tigers.

The Indians (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Panthers go into the Hogoheegee contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Northwood was trounced by Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA), 69-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) in a Hogoheegee contest, on Friday, January 31. Honaker will attempt to better on its 1-16 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 37-36 non-league win over J.I. Burton (Norton, VA).
