Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ), 58-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Lawrence upgrades its record to 15-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ) to face the in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The enter the match with a record of 9-4. Timothy Christian lost 65-63 in their recent league match against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ)

The Bulldogs now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trenton Central for a Colonial Valley match on Thursday, January 30. Hopewell Valley Central will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 88-41 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ). The Tornadoes record now stands at 10-9.
