The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) and the host St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV), observed Huntington's basketball team knock off St. Albans by a score of 75-67.

The Highlanders (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins come into the Mountain State challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Hurricane was knocked off by Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 99-90, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Dragons encounter the Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) in a Coalfield AAA challenge, on Friday, January 31. St. Albans will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 73-52 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).
