The Normandy Invaders basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Independence Blue Devils to 47 in the Invaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Invaders now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Westlake for a Cleveland West game on Thursday, January 30. Normandy will confront a Demons team coming off a 61-58 non-league loss to Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH). The Demons record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Independence falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Beachwood (Beachwood, OH) to confront the Bison in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Bison go into the game with a record of 3-10. Beachwood lost 56-44 in their recent league game against Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH)
