In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting La Conner Braves basketball team scored a close 56-55 win over the Orcas Island Vikings.
The Braves (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Wolves come into the 1B/2B Northwest contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Coupeville was tipped by Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA), 61-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Lopez Lobos (Lopez, WA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 30. Orcas Island will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Lobos come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 52-30 league loss to Providence Classical Christian (Kirkland, WA).
