The Lexington Catholic Knights basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Lafayette Generals to 55 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now have a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington Christian for a District 43 game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Lafayette falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Generals host West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Colts go into the game with a record of 7-7. West Jessamine won 66-44 in their recent non-league game against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY)
