Texas High School Basketball - Lamar Consolidated can't hold off Randle

Randle Lions (Richmond, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX), 54-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Randle upgrades its record to 17-12 on the year. The Lions travel to Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 22 match on Friday, January 31. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 14-11. Fort Bend Kempner won 62-55 in their recent league match against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victoria East for a 5A Region III District 22 match on Friday, January 31. Lamar Consolidated will face a Titans squad coming off a 64-28 league loss to Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Titans record now stands at 18-14.
