The Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) basketball edged the host Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), 60-53 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Johns Creek for a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 31. Milton will play a Gladiators team coming off a 67-66 league win over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, Lanier falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Seckinger (Buford, GA) to play the Jaguars in a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Seckinger won 55-43 in their recent league bout against Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA)
