The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) and the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), observed Lebanon's basketball team overcome Tazewell by a score of 74-61.

The Pioneers (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-18 record. In their last challenge, Sullivan East dropped by Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN), 73-68, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Tazewell will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 82-30 league loss to Eastside (Coeburn, VA).
