The Littlefield Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Muleshoe Mules to 27 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 3A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, January 31. Littlefield will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 70-32 league win over Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-12.

The Mules (1-14) will now prepare for their outing against Friona (Friona, TX). The Chieftans go into the 3A Region I District 2 game with a 4-21 record. In their last game, Friona was ripped by Shallowater (Shallowater, TX), 86-36, in a league game.
