In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Lyon County Lyons basketball team scored a good 85-73 triumph over the Livingston Central Cardinals.
The Lyons (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Rockets go into the District 5 contest with a 0-15 record.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a District 5 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Livingston Central will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 7-10 record after their 82-73 non-league loss to Heritage Christian Academy (Hopkinsville, KY).
