The Pine Island Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Lourdes Eagles to 55 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lake City for a AA Section 1 game on Thursday, January 30. Pine Island will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Lourdes falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN) to confront the Komets in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Komets go into the game with a record of 3-13. Kasson-Mantorville lost 82-39 in their recent league game against Byron (Byron, MN)
