The Leopards (24-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Lions come into the 5A Region II District 9 challenge with a 14-16 record. In their last challenge, Greenville was knocked off by Denison (Denison, TX), 70-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Melissa will attempt to improve on its 16-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-15 record after their 55-47 league loss to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX).
