Texas High School Basketball - Madison can't hold off Spring Woods

Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Madison Marlins (Houston, TX), 67-60 in a league battle.

With the victory, Spring Woods advances its record to 19-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Sterling (Houston, TX) to meet the Raiders in a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Saturday, February 1. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 12-12. Sterling won 82-64 in their recent league battle against Milby (Houston, TX)

The Marlins now own a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waltrip for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Saturday, February 1. Madison will meet a Rams squad coming off a 76-57 league win over Austin (Houston, TX). The Rams record now stands at 13-9.
