The Northeast Rebels basketball team scored 88 points and limited the visiting Maquoketa Cardinals to 52 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Bellevue for a River Valley game on Friday, January 31. Northeast will confront a Comets team coming off a 63-58 league loss to Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Comets record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Maquoketa falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Beckman (Dyersville, IA) to confront the Trailblazers in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Trailblazers go into the game with a record of 7-7. Beckman lost 75-41 in their recent non-league game against Monticello (Monticello, IA)
