The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA), 76-62 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Scarlet Hurricanes now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Grayson County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 29. Marion will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Richlands falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Blue tornado travel to Graham (Bluefield, VA) to play the G-Men in a Southwest bout on Tuesday, February 4. The G-Men go into the bout with a record of 9-1.
