The Midway Falcons bounced the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 88-51 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Forestburg Longhorns (Forestburg, TX) in a 1A Region III District 18 outing, on Friday, January 31. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Longhorns enter the outing with a 18-5 record after their 64-49 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, TX).
The Bulldogs (2-17) will now prepare for their outing against Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX). The Bears enter the 1A Region III District 18 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Gold-Burg was overwhelmed by Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX), 77-34, in a league outing.
