The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates to 46 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a 3A Coastal Range game on Thursday, January 30. Yamhill-Carlton will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 61-52 league win over Corbett (Corbett, OR). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Neah-Kah-Nie falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Seaside (Seaside, OR) to confront the Seagulls in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Seagulls go into the game with a record of 7-9. Seaside won 63-47 in their recent league game against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR)
