Texas High School Basketball - New Caney overwhelmed by Willis

In Tuesday's league test, the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) basketball squad trounced the host New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX), by a score of 74-32.

Next, the Wildkats encounter the Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 test, on Friday, January 31. Willis will attempt to improve on its 18-9 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 12-16 record after their 45-43 league win over Grand Oaks (Spring, TX).

The Eagles (6-21) will now prepare for their test against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region II District 13 test with a 5-24 record. In their last test, Caney Creek was routed by College Park (The Woodlands, TX), 95-41, in a league test.
