North Carolina High School Basketball - North Henderson knocks off Tuscola

January 28, 2025: Waynesville, NC 28786

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) and the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), observed North Henderson's basketball team overcome Tuscola by a score of 69-61.

The Knights (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers come into the 3A Mountain 7 challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Franklin defeated Pisgah (Canton, NC), 75-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Tuscola will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 100-66 league win over Swain County (Bryson City, NC).
