The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Starmount Rams to 50 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Alleghany for a 1A Northwest game on Friday, January 31. North Stokes will confront a Trojans team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Starmount falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Rams host Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to confront the Granite Bears in a 1A Northwest game on Friday, January 31. The Granite Bears go into the game with a record of 7-10. Mount Airy lost 76-60 in their recent non-league game against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC)
