North Carolina High School Basketball - Northern Guilford sneaks past Southeast Guilford

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) basketball edged the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 67-60 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Northwest Guilford for a 4A Metro bout on Friday, January 31. Northern Guilford will play a Vikings team coming off a 56-49 league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Southeast Guilford falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to play the Cowboys in a 4A Metro bout on Friday, January 31. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Southwest Guilford lost 75-58 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
