Northwest Yeshiva Lions (Mercer Island, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Pope John Paul II Eagles (Lacey, WA), 83-57 in a league match.
With the victory, Northwest Yeshiva upgrades its record to 11-7 on the year.
The Eagles now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Christian for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac match on Tuesday, February 4. Pope John Paul II will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 81-61 league loss to Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-8.
