The Oak Ridge Wildcats basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Powell Panthers to 59 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Campbell County for a 4A District 3 game on Friday, January 31. Oak Ridge will play a Cougars team coming off a 82-54 league win over Halls (Knoxville, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Powell falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN) to play the Bobcats in a 4A District 3 game on Friday, January 31. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 6-15.
