Nebraska High School Basketball - Overton victorious over Shelton

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Overton Eagles basketball team scored a good 63-55 triumph over the Shelton Bulldogs.

The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE). The Buffaloes go into the D1 District 10 contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Elm Creek topped Ravenna (Ravenna, NE), 70-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Shelton will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE).
