The Hornets come into the outing with a 9-16 record after their 47-25 league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX).

The Skyrockets (9-12) will now prepare for their outing against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region I District 2 outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Wheeler went down by Quanah (Quanah, TX), 48-42, in a league outing.
