The Washington Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Pekin Dragons to 55 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini game on Friday, January 31. Washington will confront a Rockets team coming off a 73-69 league win over Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Pekin falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Dragons host Morton (Morton, IL) to confront the Potters in a Mid-Illini game on Friday, January 31. The Potters go into the game with a record of 16-5. Morton won 59-42 in their recent league game against Metamora (Metamora, IL)
