South Carolina High School Basketball - Philip Simmons routs Woodland

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Philip Simmons Iron Horses basketball team scored a big 79-34 win over the Woodland Wolverines.

The Iron Horses (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Burke (Charleston, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AA Region 6 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Burke smashed Timberland (St. Stephen, SC), 72-63, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Andrews Yellowjackets (Andrews, SC) in a AA Region 6 contest, on Friday, January 31. Woodland will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 40-34 league loss to Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC).
