The Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC) basketball edged the host Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC), 53-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Blazers now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 31. Ridge View will play a Vikings team coming off a 81-68 league win over West Florence (Florence, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Westwood falls to 15-5 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to play the Vikings in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-11.
