The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) and the host Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK), observed Varnum's basketball team knock off Sasakwa by a score of 67-51.

The Whippets (18-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Strother (Seminole, OK). The Yellowjackets come into the Little River challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Strother prevailed over New Lima (New Lima, OK), 61-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Weleetka Outlaws (Weleetka, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Sasakwa will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record.
