New York High School Basketball - South Jefferson holds off Watertown

The South Jefferson Spartans basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Watertown Cyclones to 35 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Lowville for a Section 3 Frontier B game on Thursday, January 30. South Jefferson will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 76-40 non-league win over Indian River (Philadelphia, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Watertown falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Indian River (Philadelphia, NY) to confront the Wolves in a Section 3 Frontier A game on Friday, January 31. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 9-5. Indian River lost 76-40 in their recent non-league game against Lowville (Lowville, NY)
