The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) and the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), observed Wallace-Rose Hill's basketball team knock off South Lenoir by a score of 63-55.
The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks come into the 2A East Central challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, North Lenoir was knocked off by Kinston (Kinston, NC), 93-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. South Lenoir will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 57-44 league loss to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC).
